There are a number of coves in the vicinity, some of which are difficult to access, but just as pleasant.
- Platges del Borró in Llançà: The setting is magical, with water that appears colored with precious stones, giving a subtle blend of sapphire and emerald hues.
- Platja de l’Almadrava in Roses: The sand on this beach in Roses, in the north of the Costa Brava, is almost white. The beach is idyllically spacious and lined with pine trees.
- Platja d’es Codolar in Tossa de Mar: A sandy cove dominated by the old town’s rock walls. If you like beautiful scenery, this beach is ideal. It lies near Girona, on the southern Costa Brava.
- Platja de l’Illa Roja: The beach on the red island is very attractive, with a huge red rock at the water’s edge.
- Aiguablava beach: This beach is not to be missed. The green of the water sparkles and contrasts with the white sand.
- Cap Roig, near Calonge: This beach is located in Calonge, in the south of the Costa Brava. Pine-covered rock, fine sand and turquoise water: the scenery is postcard-perfect.
